Franciszek Kosttrzevsky

Franciszek Kosttrzevsky (1826 - 1911) was active/lived in Poland.  Franciszek Kosttrzevsky is known for Illustrations, satirical drawings, and caricatures.

Franciszek Kostrzewski was an artist from Poland who studied at the Warsaw School of Fine Arts. He worked for Warsaw magazines, including Tygodnik Ilustrowany and Klosów, and was known for his illustrations, satirical drawings, and caricatures with the main theme of genre scenes. He traveled around Europe, staying longer in Paris, and lived and worked in Warsaw permanently. He was invited to work in Kielce by T. Zielinski, a patron and art collector.
