Frank Henry (Hector) L Tompkins

Frank Henry (Hector) L. Tompkins (1847 - 1922) was active/lived in Massachusetts.  Frank Tompkins is known for Genre, landscape, portrait, floral.

Frank Hector Tompkins studied in New York at the Art Students League; in Cincinnati at the Cincinnati School of Design and in Munich at the Munich Art Academy. There his teacher was Ludwig von Loffiz.

Little is known about his career except that he was a regular exhibitor at the National Academy of Design beginning in 1881. Other exhibition venues were the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art and the Boston Art Club.
