Fu Zhang

Fu Zhang (1546 - 1631) was active/lived in China.  Fu Zhang is known for Painting, Hanging scroll.

Zhang Fu (1546-?), whose style name was Yuanchun and pseudonym was Lingshi, was a master painter from Taicang in Jiangsu province during the Longqing and Wanli periods.  His landscape painting was said to have followed the style of Shen Zhou but became uniquely his own in Zhang's later years.  His techniques and skills were considered inferior to those of Qiu Ying, but his paintings were credited with relish and vitality.  Sometimes he painted figures, which were also refined and exquisite.
