Geoffrey Chatten

Geoffrey Chatten (Born 1938) is active/lives in United Kingdom.  Geoffrey Chatten is known for Land-and seascape, still life painting.

Born at Gorleston-on-Sea, Norfolk, the artist had a keen interest in nature and his first job was with the Forestry Commission.  In 1960 he was encouraged to start painting and has been a professional artist ever since.  He paints a wide range of subject matter including landscapes, seascapes and still life with a skill and mastery which is completely his own.

He regularly exhibits throughout the country showing work at The Royal Academy, The Royal Institute of Oil Painters.  He has had one man shows in New Orleans with the Dixon & Dixon Gallery as well as at Haddiscoe Hall in Norfolk in 2010 and 2011, jointly exhibiting at The Bruton Street Gallery in Mayfair in London
