George Dee Smith (Born 1944) is active/lives in Wyoming.  George Smith is known for Landscape, western animal-genre.

Born in Cody, Wyoming and living only in that state, he became a painter of western wilderness scenes, reflecting his love of the mountains and their inhabitants.

He graduated from Cody High School and then earned a degree in architecture from Montana State University in Bozeman. He practiced as an architect before becoming full-time artist in 1970.
