Glenna Brown Boland was born in Dayton, OH on May 18, 1907. Boland moved to Bakersfield, CA as an infant. In 1921 she moved across the Golden Gate to Marin County. She began painting in 1930 after studying with Jade Fon and Ray Strong. She died at her home in Stinson Beach, CA on Dec. 31, 1994. Member: Society of Western Artists; Marin Co. WC Society; Marin Society of Artists.
