Hans Zank

Hans Zank (1889 - 1967) was active/lived in Germany.  Hans Zank is known for Painting of landscape, marine views, city landmarks, drawing, collaborative art.

Hans Zank (1889-1967), Berlin view painter, after an apprenticeship as a glass painter he studied at the art school of Johannes Walter-Kurau. There he met Willi Gericke, with whom he worked until the end of his life.

Zank worked in Spandau and Falkensee in close artistic community with Willi Gericke (1895-1970), whom he had met during his art studies in Berlin. They often painted and signed together. His work was first influenced by Expressionism and Cubism, but later moved towards Impressionism.
