Iosif Evstafevich Krachkovsky

Iosif Evstafevich Krachkovsky (1854 - 1914) was active/lived in Russian Federation.  Iosif Krachkovsky is known for Painting.

Deeply inspired by the masters of Barbizon, Iosif Krachkovsky knew how to excel in the genre of the landscape by rendering a very personal vision of nature. The strength of his compositions lies in Krachkovksky's ability to transport us to the place being painted, thanks in particular to his travels to the Italian lakes, the Crimea and the South of France, which inspired a large part of his landscapes. The light of the south, the saturated colors and the luxuriant vegetation are faithfully transcribed and give the compositions a great poetry.
