Irion Shields

Irion Shields (1895 - 1983) was active/lived in California.  Irion Shields is known for Landscape, seascape.

Born in Texas on Feb. 22, 1895.

Shields was a resident of San Diego in 1932. Shortly thereafter, he moved to Sacramento where for 40 years he was a sign painter for McClellan Air Force Base. In his leisure, he worked in oil, watercolor, and pen & ink to produce seascapes and landscapes of the Mother Lode area and the Sacramento environs.

Shields died on Nov. 23, 1983 in Sacramento. Member: Kingsley Art Club. CA&A; DR.
