Jerzy Grabowski (1933 - 2004) was active/lived in Poland.  Jerzy Grabowski is known for Painting.

Jerzy Grabowski, an outstanding graphic artist, gained recognition thanks to his refined abstract compositions. His contribution to the development of concrete art and op-art in Poland was significant, and international artistic cooperation contributed to the promotion of his work outside the country. Bozena Kowalska emphasized that each of Grabowski's works was the result of a precisely implemented plan that was rooted in a mathematical approach to art. The artist used numbers and their logical sequences, relying on basic mathematical operations such as addition, subtraction and exponentiation. Analyzing Grabowski's drawing sketches, one can notice his unique coding system. For example, a square divided into two triangles often symbolized the harmony of opposites, representing numbers with the same absolute value but opposite signs, such as "+1" and "-1".
