John Guy Cleal, Jr. (1861 - 1942) was active/lived in California.  John Cleal Jr is known for Abstract/realist style painting of farm buildings, rural landscape, nude figuere.

Born in California on Nov. 29, 1861. Cleal was a resident of San Luis Obispo in 1887. He later settled in San Francisco and was a painting partner of Frank Willson Judd. He died there on March 31, 1942. Exh: Calif. State Fair, 1887.
