John Pawle (1915 - 2010) was active/lived in United Kingdom.  John Pawle is known for Painting.

John Pawle (1915-2010) was a sportsman and larger than life character.  He went to Harrow (The Grove) from 1928-1934, excelling in Rackets and Tennis, as well as being Captain of the cricket team.  After school, he went to Pembroke College, Cambridge, before studying at the Westminster School of Art.

Fate then took him into the City, where he worked as a member of the Stock Exchange until 1979.  Thereafter, he was able to devote his time to painting.  He had more than twenty very successful exhibitions with his works being acquired by an ever growing list of collectors.  The Portland Gallery have regularly sold his work.
