Juan (Berenguer) Ribera

Juan (Berenguer) Ribera (Born 1935) is active/lives in Spain.  Juan Ribera is known for Abstract, expressionist painting, mixed media, drawing.

Trained at the Escuela Superior de Bellas Artes de Valencia, Juan Ribera was a founding member of artistic groups such as Parpalló, Arte Actual and Movimiento Artístico del Mediterráneo. He has been part of the Valencian and Madrid artistic avant-gardes, participating in exhibitions at the Juan Mordó gallery.

He exhibited individually at the General Directorate of Fine Arts in Madrid (1969) and the Museum of the City of Valencia (1998), among other centers, and participated in outstanding groups such as those held at the Museum of Modern Art in Paris (1963): "Figurative painters of modern Spain" (1964), traveling through the United States, and the IVAM of Valencia.
