Julius Friedrich Ludwig Runge

Julius Friedrich Ludwig Runge (1843 - 1922) was active/lived in Germany.  Julius Runge is known for Painting.

Julius Friedrich Ludwig Runge was a landscape and marine painter born in 1843 in Röbel / Mecklenburg, 

In 1870 Runge studied at the Munich Academy under Alexander von Wagner and  Hermann Anschütz.   From 1875 to 1879 he studied at the Academy in Karlsruhe under Hans. Fredrik Gude and Gustav Schoenleber.

In 1880 he resided in Hamburg and was active in Munich since 1885.

Runge took study trips to Denmark, Norway Palestine and Italy. Julius Friedrich Ludwig Runge passed away in Lindau in 1922.
