Larry (L.D.) Edgar began sculpting in bronze in 1988. In 1996 he won the Sponsor's Choice Award at the Douglas Invitational Art Show for his bronze "Brothers of the Gun" which is now on permanent display at the State Pioneer Memorial Museum in Douglas, Wyoming. In 2002 he received the Best Sculpture Award for his bronze, "United by Courage" at the Douglas Invitational Art Show. Wild West Magazine has featured Larry's work in several issues since 1989 and was on the cover of its June 1999 issue. His work now appears on the cover of several non-fiction Western history books.
