Leopold Rivers (1850-1905) was a London born landscape painter, son and pupil of the marine painter William Joseph Rivers. He was elected a member of the Royal Society of British Artists in 1890 and the Royal Academy in 1873.


His painting of Stormy Weather, was at the Tate gallery in London in 1892. He was a prolific exhibitor throughout his career.
