Lucia Sarto

Lucia Sarto (Born 1950) is active/lives in Italy.  Lucia Sarto is known for Painting.

Lucia Sarto was born in the Udine area in 1950.

In 1961 she won First Prize in a painting competition organized in the Region's Middle Schools.

She trained as an artist in Venice and Turin, cities in which she would successfully participate in a number of group shows.  It was in Turin, a famous center of Italian artistic and cultural life, that she was recognized Female Painter of the Year, with the most significant of her Romantic Realism  paintings figuring in a one-woman show at the Palazzo della Regione.

She has participated in more that one hundred exhibitions, holding a total of fifty one-woman shows in Italy and abroad.

In 1979 she received the "Female Painter of the Year" award in Como.

In 1980, at a ceremony in the Como Palazzo delle Manfestazioni, she received the 'Costa Armatori Award' for the exhibitions she had organized on transatlantic cruise ships.
