Luong Xuan Nhi

Luong Xuan Nhi (1913 - 2006) was active/lived in Viet Nam.  Luong Nhi is known for Figure, genre painting.

Influenced by the precepts of his teaching at the School of Fine Arts in Indochina, but also by his travels, particularly in Eastern Europe, Luong Xuân Nhi delivers pieces with a precious testimony on a modern Vietnam.

Far from the idealized representations of young elegant women, the artist focused on the history of his country and its daily life. This topic pays a beautiful tribute to Vietnam, and is one that is close to his heart and is reflected in three of his oil paintings, two of which were kept in his home.
