Born  on Jan. 27, 1887 (Duluth, Minnesota). Perl was a pupil of Henri, Mucha, Freer, Scarbina, Slinkard, and Fechin. She was a resident of Monterey Park, CA in 1932-47 and died in Los Angeles on Dec. 9, 1956.
