Mathurin Janssaud (1857 - 1940) was active/lived in France.  Mathurin Janssaud is known for Landscape, genre painting.

Mathurin Janssaud painted many pictures of Concarneau, especially round the harbor.  Many very distinguished artists from equally many lands formed a vibrant art colony in the small Breton town, just like Pont Aven.  Janssaud never painted for the market, he painted what he wanted to do without commercial factors dominating.
