Maurice Bouval was a French sculptor born in Toulouse in 1863. He studied under Alexandre Falguière and was active as an artist from 1880 to 1914.

Bouval designed models for terracotta figures for the Goldscheider company, as well as their company logo "Sculpture", which was used between 1900-1920.
