Merpert Dmitry Mavrikievich

Merpert Dmitry Mavrikievich (1924 - 2008) was active/lived in Soviet Union (former).  Merpert Mavrikievich is known for Painting.

Soviet artist-painter, monumentalist, poster artist. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. Honored Artist of the RSFSR. In 1965, in collaboration with Yakov Skripkov, he completed the mosaic panel “Builders of Communism”, and in 1967, the panel “Friendship” in Artek, for which he was awarded the Lenin Komsomol Prize. He painted genre paintings, portraits and landscapes in a realistic manner. In 1958 he participated in the large exhibition “Posters and Satire for 40 Years in the Works of Moscow Artists.”
