Paul Frankl

Paul Theodore Frankl (1886 - 1958) was active/lived in California / Austria.  Paul Frankl is known for Designer, craftsperson, painter, writer.

Born in Vienna, Austria on Oct. 14, 1886. Frankl began as an architect and later switched to designing and painting fine art. In 1934 he moved from NYC to Los Angeles where he taught at USC and Chouinard Art Institute. He died in Palos Verdes Estates, CA on March 21, 1958. Exh: Knoedler Gallery (NYC), 1931 (solo); LA Junior College, 1936; Stendahl Gallery (LA), 1944 (solo).
