Peter Mason Bond

Peter Mason Bond (1880 - 1971) was active/lived in California / Australia.  Peter Bond is known for Painting.

Peter Mason Bond was born in Australia on Nov. 14, 1880.  Bond moved to northern California about the time of the 1906 earthquake.  He established a sign-painting business in San Francisco and a home on Clayton Street.  A fervent pacifist, his home and front garden were gaudily decorated with signs, rocks, plants, and objects urging world peace.  The colorful display was a popular stop for the Gray Line Tour buses.  He lived there until his death on Dec. 18, 1971.
