Philip Morton Brody was born in New York on April 22, 1905. Brody studied at the ASL of NYC. He was a resident of Los Angeles in 1940-47; by the 1950s he had settled in Scarsdale, NY. He died there in September 1970. Exh: Michigan State College, 1939; Los Angeles County Museum of Art, 1943.
