Ramiro Arrue

Ramiro Arrue (1892 - 1971) was active/lived in Spain.  Ramiro Arrue is known for Painting.

Ramiro Arrue was born in Bilbao in 1892 and died in 1971.

On March 16, 1929, Ramiro ARRUE married Suzanne BLANCHE, a native of Saint-Jean-de-Luz, before going on their honeymoon to Saint-Tropez. 

Between 1925-1930, Ramiro ARRUE painted a number of portraits, a genre he tended to abandon over the years. Ramiro was is in full force of age and then meets his greatest artistic success. A few self-portraits reflect this perfectly. But, in his personal life, he certainly also lived a great happiness as evidenced by several period photographs with Suzanne Blanché, a Luzienne who ended up convincing Ramiro to settle in the city of the corsairs. The painted portraits of Suzanne are also from this period, 1930, where the couple's marriage was celebrated.
