Sergei Arsenevich Vinogradov

Sergei Arsenevich Vinogradov (1869 - 1938) was active/lived in Russian Federation.  Sergei Vinogradov is known for Painting.

1) On the Kultur DVD "Russian Painters: The Impressionist Years," the narrative notes: "Sergei Vinogradov was a leading Moscow Impressionist whose painting offers an excellent reflection of the original evolution of the Russian School of Impressionism...Vinogradov produced a large number of subjectless genre works depicting peasant figures. In 1910, Vinogradov gave an interesting harmonious interpretation of the theme of the Crimea in ringing tones."
Later, discussing the Moscow School of Impressionism, the narrative mentions the "evolution" of the RSOI again, noting that the paintings of Vinogradov, Stanislav Zhukovsky, and Konstantin Korovin all underwent similar "metamorphoses:" their work acquiring a "neo-romantic tinge" and becoming more colorful after 1910.
