Thyra Boldsen was born in Denmark on Dec. 12, 1883. Boldsen moved to southern California in 1931. After a few years in Long Beach, she settled in Monrovia. She died in Los Angeles on Sept. 22, 1968. Exh: Painters & Sculptors of LA, 1932; Palos Verdes Library, 1932, 1935, 1937; Golden Gate International Exposition of 1939-40. Works Held: Exposition Park (LA).
