William Bailey and his brother, Ron, spent their teen years working on cattle ranches in the summer, and fell in love with the outdoors and western way of life.

William was the youngest professional artist in the Flathead valley of Montana, well known for his oil paintings of wildlife, Native Americans, and cowboys.
