Gustave Cimiotti Jr

Gustave Cimiotti, Jr. (1875 - 1969) was active/lived in New York.  Gustave Cimiotti Jr is known for Coastal view, landscape and still life painting.

Called the "Grand Old Man of Romanticism," Gustave Cimiotti was one of the exhibitors at the Armory Show of 1913 with two entries, The Barrier" and "Hillside.  He was a student of John Twachtmann and also studied at the Academy Julian in Paris.  He was a close friend of John La Farge and Winslow Homer.
