Tim Orr

Tim Orr (Born 1940) is active/lives in France, England.  Tim Orr is known for Biomorphic abstract shape sculpture, stoneware, ceramics, painting.

Born in England, Tim Orr is a sculptor, painter and ceramist. He moved to Biot, France in 1960 and lived with Jacqueline (1933-1989). They were among the first to work in porcelain on an artistic level, and they did several large works such as a series of four large sculptures for the hospital Lapeyronie Montpellier.  They decided to leave the French Riviera for the Herault and settle in Brissac. 

Since the death of Jacqueline in 1989, Tim has worked along, emphasizing from his research a bronze-porcelain juxtaposition. He continues to give workshops.
