Vincent Benes

Vincent Benes (1883 - 1979) was active/lived in Czech Republic.  Vincent Benes is known for Painting.

After the pre-war cubist phase, in the 1920s Beneš's work shifted to a neoclassical expression under the influence of André Derain. In 1923 and 1924 he regularly painted plein air around the Little Rock. He was interested in the atmosphere in an attempt to capture a more permanent state of the lighting situation compared to the earlier impressionistic transformation of light.
