Vladimir Nalecz

Vladimir Nalecz (1865 - 1946) was active/lived in Poland.  Vladimir Nalecz is known for Landscape painting and sea themes.

Vladimir Nalecz (1865 Kiev  - 1946 Jerusalem)  Vladimir was a painter and journalist. In the years between 1885-93, he studied at the Academy of St. Petersburg with P. Czistiakow and W. Jakobi. He supplemented painting studies at the Düsseldorf Academy with EG Dücker and in 1897 with E. Petitjean in Paris.

He traveled a lot, painting landscapes from the countries he visited.  From 1907 he  permanently lived in Warsaw, where he worked as a drawing teacher in a gymnasium. In 1921, he bought an estate in Lisi Jar near Rozewie, where he stayed constantly in the summer months and where he conducted courses in seascape.
