Ignasi Mundo (1918 - 2012) was active/lived in Spain, France.  Ignasi Mundo is known for Expressionist and post-impressionist figurative painting, urban landscape.

Gnasi Mundó was born in Barcelona in 1918, where he spent the years of his childhood and lived the war. When finishing this one, he had to make a long military service in Salamanca and Valladolid. When time allowed, he was going to visit museums and study the works of the great painters. He also made good friends.
When finishing the military service, he earned a scholarship from Cercle Maillol to study in Paris, where he worked to paint and study in depth the great French and Dutch painters in museums; Impressionists, nabis and fauves, among others. Also the work of other European painters that interested him. He co-operated with other painters from different countries and makes good friends. He wrote a "Chronicle of French Painting" in Ariel magazine (1947).
