William Macy

William Starbuck Macy (1853 - 1945) was active/lived in Massachusetts, California.  William Macy is known for Landscape, rural genre and animal painting.

Born in New Bedford, MA in August 1853.  Macy studied at the NAD and in Munich.  He was in Pembroke, MA in 1900 and by 1910 he had settled in Santa Barbara, CA where he had a poultry farm.  He died there on July 29, 1945.
