Alexander Ivanovich Morozov (1835-1904)

Studied at the Saint Petersburg Imperial Academy of Fine Arts.  Paintings all in the State Tetryakov Gallery, Moscow: Rest on Hay; Going out from the Church in Pskov (1864) for which he obtained the title of academician; Summer Evening; Village School (1872); Knife Grinder; Barge Hauler; After Fire (1888).

He did portraits of many aristocrats such as Young Count Apraskin, Mme. Karnilovich and icons in numerous Russian Museums.
