Cedric Baldwin Egeli is a member of one of America's foremost families of artists. The son of renowned portraitist, Bjorn Egeli, Cedric carries on the family tradition as a nationally recognized portrait artist.

Steeped in painting from a very young age, Cedric received his early training from his parents. His mother, also an accomplished artist, was a winner of the Prix de Rome while a student at the Corcoran School of Art. Cedric also attended Principia College and -- following in the footsteps of both parents -- attended the Corcoran.

Cedric's two brothers and two sisters, a son, two daughters a niece and his wife, Joanette, are also notable artists. Their portrait subjects have been presidents, Eisenhower and Nixon, famous generals and admirals, members of presidential cabinets, prominent jurists, as well as physicians, corporate executives, governors and a host of celebrities.
