E. George De Ville (1890 - 1960) was active/lived in Arizona, New Mexico, Wisconsin. E De Ville is known for Sandpainting, southwest landscape.
Born in Appleton, Wisconsin, E. George De Ville is known for his sand paintings, which he, not a Native American, did with the same methods as the Southwest Indians. One of his works titled

His subjects were western from New Mexico and Arizona, especially the Grand Canyon. He also did portraits of old time Indians and white settlers of those regions. He lived much of his life in Flagstaff, Arizona and Gallup, New Mexico, and was living in St. Johns, Arizona when he died.
