Prior to moving to the Okanagan Valley, BC in 1996 to become a full time artist, she was a former instructor at Mount Royal University, Calgary, AB. 

She is a member of the Federation of Canadian Artists, a Signature member of Pastel Artists Canada and the Northwest Pastel Society.  She is a Distinguished Pastelis in the Pastel Society of the West Coast, and an Elected member of the Society of Canadian Artists.

Evalynne works primarily in pastel, acrylic, and oil.  The subject dictates both the medium and the style.  Evalynne has received numerous awards for her works that can be found in galleries and private collections throughout North America.
