German sculptor Ferdinand Liebermann was born in Judenbach, 1883 and died 1941 in Munich.  He studied at the Munich School of Applied Arts and Academy, and his body of work includes small sculptures and fountains, architectural sculptures and monuments.  From 1909 Liebermann worked for the company Rosenthal AG and was regarded as the main designer in the early days of the art department.
