Fernando Puig Rosado (Don Benito, Spain, April 1, 1931 — Paris, France, September 25, 2016)
was a Spanish painter and illustrator. After studying medicine in Spain, he turned to an illustration career. In 1960, he settled in France where he worked in the youth press.

He published his drawings in Switzerland, England and Spain (“Época”), and also did works in advertising, school publishing and animation. With Jean-Pierre Desclozeaux, Avignon was founded in 1967 at the Sociedad Protectora de Humor. He received the Great Price of Black Humor in 1976.

He illustrated several stories by Pierre Gripari ("the tales of rue Broca"), Evelyne Brisou-Pellen ("the King's Cucumbers", 1988), and Sylvie Girardet ("the House of the five senses" and an encyclopedia of the animal world ).

A humorist and supporter of human rights and ecology, he collaborated with Henriette Bichonnier on an ironic anti-war manifesto ("Tetaclak et Poirabaff", 1990).
