Giorgio Ortona (Born 1960) is active/lives in Italy, Libyan Arab Jamahiriya.  Giorgio Ortona is known for Urban landscapes, figure and still-life painting.

The Libyan-born artist Giorgio Ortona studied at the school of arts in Rome and architecture at the university of the city. An international painting course brought Ortona to Spain at the university of Cádiz.

In 2011 the artist participated at the 54th Venice Biennale. Ortona primarily paints urban landscapes, figure paintings and still lifes. His figurative and realistic works tend to abstraction. The artist lives and works in Rome today. (msc)
