Greta Freist was born in 1904, in Austria. In 1936, she emigrated to Paris. Greta exhibited in the Salon d'Automne and the Salon Indépendants. In 1950, she founded the "Art Club" in Paris, with Gottfried Goebel. Greta Freist died in 1993.
