He was a student of Beaux Arts in Avignon, where he obtained several rewards.

He exhibited in Paris, at the Salon des Artistes Français, of which he was a member. He exhibited in the South of France, in Paris, Berlin, Brussels, etc...
He painted landscapes of the Provence, of the Basque country, Corsica, and the centre of France.
He made illustrations of the Camargue and old Avignon and wrote texts about the latter.
