James Emery Greer (1948 - 1990) was active/lived in Rhode Island, Colorado.  James Greer is known for Panoramic mountain landscape and seascape painting.

Born and educated in New England, he devoted himself to landscape painting, especially the grandeur of mountains and the streams rushing through.

His paintings are in the permanent collections of the University of Indiana and Boston University.
