Janos Lajos Tihanyi (1892 - 1957) was active/lived in Hungary.  Janos Tihanyi is known for Painting.

Painter, graphic artist. His first works have an impressionist influence, some of which were published in 1917 and 1918. After the end of the First World War, he resumed his studies at Béla Iványi Grünvald and István Réti, then at the graphic arts department of Viktor Olgyai at the Budapest College of Fine Arts.

From 1925 he participated in group exhibitions at the National Salon and the Ernst Museum. In addition to his graphics, he painted landscapes and seascapes, many of which can be found in the National Gallery.
