Fritz Wilhelm Pfeiffer (1889 - 1960) was active/lived in Massachusetts.  Fritz Pfeiffer is known for Modernist marine, floral and townscape painting, abstraction, illustration.

Born in Gettysburg, PA in 1889, Fritz Pfeiffer studied with Hugh Breckenridge, Thomas Anshutz, William Merritt Chase and Robert Henri.

He was a member of the Provincetown Art Association, and the honorary Vice President from 1938–1956.

Fritz Pfeiffer was the husband of the artist Hope Hazard Vorhees (Pfeiffer), who was also previously a student of his.
