Carol Westcott

Carol Whorf Westcott (1926 - 2008) was active/lived in Massachusetts.  Carol Westcott is known for Still life paintings.

Carol Westcott was born in New York City on January 18, 1926.  Her parents were John Whorf and Vivienne Wing Whorf.  Carol was the oldest of four children.  Her brothers are John Whorf, Michael Whorf and sister, Nancy Whorf.  Carol was raised in Brookline, Massachusetts and later in Provincetown, Massachusetts. 

She married in 1945, then 1st Lt. Charles T. Westcott who was a recent graduate of the US Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland.  Charles made a career of the Marine Corps retiring in 1975 as a Colonel.  While in the USMC the family moved frequently living in Ohio, North Carolina, Texas, Virginia, Massachusetts and California.  Carol and Charles had six children, Charles T., Mary, Mark, Matt, Amy and Christopher.  Carol has been a painter her whole life having learned many lessons from her father, noted watercolorist John Whorf.  She and Charles made their home in Provincetown, Massachusetts and she continued to paint sti   ...  [Displaying 1000 of 1284 characters.]  Artist bio
