John Encinias

John Encinias (Born 1949) is active/lives in Colorado, New Mexico.  John Encinias is known for Landscape, figure and still life painting.

Equally adept and still lifes and landscapes, John Encinias is a longtime member of the National Academy of Western Art* and has participated regularly in the Prix de West* exhibitions at the National Cowboy Hall of Fame.

He was born in New Mexico and is largely self taught.  For his landscapes, he is a "plein aire"* painter, completing his canvases outside.
