Tomas (Pan Yo Pin) Vigil (1889 - 1960) was active/lived in New Mexico.  Tomas Vigil is known for Figure-cermonial and animal painting-primitive.

An important figure in the rise of the modern school of pueblo painters, Thomas Vigil, whose Indian name was Pan Yo Pin, participated in a series of exhibitions starting in the late 1920s.
